Good drawer tool chest

I really like this tool chest. I could not come even close at this price anywhere that I looked. I transfered my tools into it and the drawers still open on the rollers easily. Thanks for a great price on a really good product.

The tool box is what I expected and good value for money. The item arrived ahead of time and suits the purpose I purchased it for. I would recomend this to others.

Get a HOMAK BK01032101 3-Drawer Tool Box/Chest Black

In a side by side comparison with a Sears professional toolbox costing at least 2-3X more, I think they are very similar (some features are identical). I would say the Homak drawers "fit" when slid into the box is not quite as good as the Sears unit, the Homak drawers seem a little mushy as they hit the backstop. The Sears toolbox is a few years old and has one more drawer. When fully loaded with tools I agree with other reviewers the weight is just too much to cart very far, I usually just have the toolbox at the back of a workbench, and carry a handful of tools to where I need them. If you don't have a toolbox they are great for storing a large number of hand tools, drill bits, etc. in a small space so you can find them easily. For under $50 you get a toolbox with ballbearing slides, I don't know how these Homak toolboxes hold up over the long term though. I haven't had any problems with the Sears toolbox.

Nice item, poor packaging

This is a very well-made and high-quality toolbox, especially at this price. My only concern is that the packaging was not sufficient to keep it from being dented in shipping. The dent was cosmetic (on the rear bottom edge) so I chose to keep the toolbox and receive a credit from Amazon.
